Package Tracking Basics

Track all your shipments in one place. Understand tracking statuses and keep your customers informed throughout the delivery process.

Tracking Your Packages

From the Dashboard:

  1. Go to Labels History
  2. Click on any shipment
  3. View real-time tracking status

Using Tracking Number:

  1. Enter tracking number in search
  2. View detailed tracking history
  3. See estimated delivery date

Understanding Tracking Statuses

StatusMeaning
Label CreatedShipping label generated, awaiting pickup
AcceptedPackage received by carrier
In TransitPackage moving through carrier network
Out for DeliveryOn delivery vehicle today
DeliveredSuccessfully delivered
Delivery AttemptedCarrier tried but couldn't deliver
ExceptionIssue requiring attention
Return to SenderBeing returned to origin

Tracking Events Timeline

Each shipment shows detailed events:

  • Date and time of each scan
  • Location (city, state, facility)
  • Event description
  • Next expected event

Setting Up Customer Notifications

Keep customers informed automatically:

  1. Go to Settings → Customer Notifications
  2. Enable tracking notifications
  3. Choose events to notify:
    • Shipment created
    • In transit updates
    • Out for delivery
    • Delivered
    • Exceptions

Branded Tracking Pages

Create a professional tracking experience:

  1. Go to Settings → Branding
  2. Upload your logo
  3. Set brand colors
  4. Customize message
  5. Preview and save

Tracking API Integration

For developers, use our tracking API:

GET /v1/tracking/{tracking_number}

Response includes:

  • Current status
  • Full event history
  • Estimated delivery

Delivery Exceptions

Address Issue:

  • Verify address is correct
