Payment Methods and Security

AtoShip accepts multiple payment methods and uses industry-leading security to protect your financial information.

Accepted Payment Methods

Credit/Debit Cards:

  • Visa
  • Mastercard
  • American Express
  • Discover

Bank Transfers:

  • ACH (US banks)
  • Wire transfer
  • eCheck

Adding a Payment Method

Adding a Card:

  1. Go to Dashboard → Billing → Payment Methods
  2. Click "Add Card"
  3. Enter card details
  4. Verify with CVC
  5. Card saved securely

Adding Bank Account:

  1. Go to Payment Methods
  2. Click "Add Bank Account"
  3. Enter routing and account numbers
  4. Verify via micro-deposits
  5. Takes 2-3 business days

Managing Payment Methods

Setting Default:

  • Mark any card as default
  • Used for auto-recharge
  • Can be changed anytime

Removing Methods:

  1. Go to Payment Methods
  2. Click card/account to remove
  3. Confirm deletion
  4. Keep at least one active

Updating Expired Cards:

  • Update before expiration
  • Auto-recharge fails with expired cards
  • Receive expiration reminders

Security Measures

Data Protection:

  • PCI DSS Level 1 compliant
  • Card data never stored on our servers
  • Processed by Stripe (industry leader)
  • 256-bit SSL encryption

Two-Factor Authentication

Enabling 2FA:

  1. Go to Settings → Security
  2. Enable two-factor auth
  3. Scan QR code with authenticator app
  4. Enter verification code
  5. Save backup codes

  • All admin users
  • Users with billing access
  • High-volume accounts

Fraud Prevention

Built-in Protection:

  • Unusual activity alerts
  • New device notifications
  • Large transaction verification
  • Geographic anomaly detection

What to Watch For:

  • Unexpected charges
  • Unknown login locations
  • Password reset emails you didn't request
  • Balance changes you don't recognize

Receipts and Documentation

Automatic Receipts:

  • Sent for every payment
  • PDF format available

International Payments

Currency:

  • All transactions in USD
  • Cards charged in USD
  • Bank handles conversion
  • No additional AtoShip fees

International Cards:

  • Generally accepted
  • Bank may charge forex fee
  • Verify card works for US transactions
